Eileen Cronin

Eileen W. Cronin, 81, of Peabody, formerly of Lynnfield, died on Tuesday December 2 at Brooksby Village in Peabody.

Born in Lynn on June 8, 1927, she was the daughter of Marion E. (Melrose) Wing of Phillips, ME and the late Harold E. Wing.

Mrs. Cronin was raised in Marblehead and was a graduate of Marblehead High School and had also attended Tufts University. She had moved to Lynnfield in the 1950's.

Mrs. Cronin was the wife of the late William E. Cronin, Jr. She was the mother of William E. Cronin, III and his wife Judy of Co, Kathleen Dillon and her husband William of Middleboro, Gail McCarthy of Bradford, Diane Rand and her husband Eric of Candia, N.H. James P. Cronin and his wife Cindy of Georgetown and Ronald S. Cronin and his wife Anne of Jacksonville, FL. She was the sister of Barbara Parker of Deerfield Beach, FL. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

A funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Maria Goretti Church, 112 Chestnut St., Lynnfield on Friday at 9:00 A.M. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Interment will be at Forest Hill Cemetery in Lynnfield.
