Eileen Harrington

Eileen M. Harrington, 67 of Wakefield died Friday March 2 in Woburn. Born June 14, 1944 the daughter of Mary (McLellan) Walsh of Everett and the late John F. Walsh. Mrs. Harrington was a graduate of Matignon High School in 1962 and later attended Salem State College where she earned a Masters Degree in Education. She taught for many years in the Malden Public School system and retired from Malden High School as a teacher of mathematics. She had been a Wakefield resident since 1972 and was member of the Most Blessed Sacrament Church in Wakefield.

Mrs. Harrington was the wife of the late Nelson F. Harrington. She was the mother of Stephen Harrington & wife Leah of Stoneham, David Harrington & wife Donna of Acton. She was the sister of John Walsh of Wakefield and Paul Walsh of Everett. She is also survived by her grandchildren Cal, Stella, Emma and Luke, Celia and Ashley

Her funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home 19 Yale Ave. Wakefield on Tuesday at 9am followed by a funeral mass in the Most Blessed Sacrament Church 1155 Main St. Wakefield at 10:00. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the funeral home Monday 4-8pm. Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery.
