Elaine T . Burditt , 67, a long time Wakefield resident died on Thursday, November 21 at her residence.

Born in Arlington on October 14, 1946, she was the daughter of the late William H. and Alice M. (Dillon) Sullivan.

Mrs. Burditt was raised in Medford and was a graduate of Medford High School. She had been employed for many years at the New England Memorial Hospital where she worked as an EKG Technician.

Mrs. Burditt was the beloved wife of Richard H. Burditt . She was the loving mother of Richard H. Burditt , Jr., and wife Kim of Wakefield, and Kerry A. Burditt of Melrose. She was the grandmother of Timothy Burditt , Julia and Grace Wade, and Kirbie and Reegan O'Brien. She was the sister of Ruth Hall and the late Karen Sullivan. She is also survived by Heather and Scott Wade of Wakefield, and many cousins, nieces, nephews and In-laws.

Her funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Monday at 10 a.m. followed by a funeral mass in Saint Joseph Church, 173 Albion St., Wakefield at 11 o'clock. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the funeral home on Sunday from 1-5 p.m. Interment will be at the Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield.
