Eleanor T. Grady, 87, of Danvers and formerly of Lynnfield died on Tuesday, June 11 at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Medford.

Born in Somerville on October 24, 1925 she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Marie (Smith) Smith.

Mrs. Grady was raised in Somerville and was a graduate of Somerville High School. She had worked as a manager for Grady & Associates of Woburn. Mrs. Grady was an avid bridge player and crossword puzzle enthusiast and also enjoyed travel.

Mrs. Grady was the wife of Leonard P. Grady. She was the mother of Richard P. Grady of Tewksbury, Robert S. Grady of North Reading, Christine D'Amboise and her husband Leon of NH, and the late Cynthia A. Connatser and her husband Ron. She was the sister of Claire Conley of Falmouth, Sister Herberta Smith of Framingham, and the late Reverend Herbert Smith, Gertrude Wing and Dorothy Banatt. She was the grandmother of Clint, Jenna, Jason, Nicole, Michelle, Julie and Scott and great grandmother of Lily.

A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Maria Goretti Church, 112 Chestnut St., Lynnfield on Friday at 11 a.m. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Friday morning prior to the mass from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Interment will be at Mount Calvary Cemetery in Boston.
