Eleanor Popp

Eleanor G . Popp , 88, of Lynnfield died on Friday, March 21, 2014 at the Sawtelle Hospice House in Reading.

Born in Lynn on June 5, 1925 she was the daughter of the late John and Nellie (Clements) Cannon.

Mrs. Popp was a graduate of Lynn Classical high School, Class of 1943. She had worked as a secretary at GE in Lynn. Mrs. Popp had been a Lynnfield resident for the past 56 years and was a member of the Our Lady of the Assumption Church in Lynnfield.

She is survived by her husband Randolph Popp , her four sons; Randy Popp , Jr., and his wife Patti of Peabody, Ronald Popp and his wife Sandra of Tewksbury, Bryon Popp and his wife Margaret of Newbury and Stephen Popp and his wife Kerri of Derry, NH. Mrs. Popp is also survived by her 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. She was predeceased by her sister Mary McNulty and her brother George Cannon.

Visitation for family and friends will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave, Wakefield on Thursday, March 27th from 9-11A.M. A brief service will be held immediately following.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution may be made in Eleanor's name to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation, Memorials and Tributes, National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Greater New England Chapter, P.O. Box 845945, Boston, MA 02284-5945.
