Elinor M. Nagle

Elinor M. Nagle, age 88 of Lynnfield, died peacefully at her home on Friday, July 26. 

She was born in Somerville on June 18, 1936 and was the daughter of the late Michael and Elizabeth (Reidy) Finigan. 

Elinor grew up in Somerville and was a graduate of Somerville High School. She was known for her positive attitude, her zest for life and infectious smile. She loved spending time with family and friends and her Granddaughter who was her "whole world". 

She was the beloved wife of the late James Nagle. She was the loving mother of Karen Martin and her husband Greg of Lynnfield, and Brian Nagle of California. She was the grandmother of Jillian Martin of Lynnfield. Elinor was the sister of James Finigan of Medford, and the late Leo Finigan, Robert Finigan, Lenny Finigan, Elizabeth Baker, Sarah Finigan, and Dorothy Schreib. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. 

Elinor’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Maria Goretti Church, 112 Chestnut St., Lynnfield on Wednesday August 7 at 10:00 a.m. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the church prior to the Mass beginning at 9:00 a.m. Interment will be private.
