Elizabeth Bugden, formerly of Wakefield, died January 12 in North Reading
after a long illness at the age of 88.
Born in Norwich, CT on August 4, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Charles Q. and Edna (Bassett) Ives.
Mrs. Bugden was raised in Reading and graduated from Reading High School in 1938. She was a Homemaker and, together with her late husband, Kenneth J. Bugden, lived &
raised their family in Wakefield. She was also retired from L & S Associates
where she worked as a secretary for many years.
Her survivors include two sons, Lawrence J. Bugden and his wife Susan of
Brewster; David L. Bugden and his wife Lisa of Orlando, FL and a daughter,
Lois E. Kelley and her husband Richard of North Reading. She is also survived
by (6) grandchildren and two great grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews as well as her sister-in-law, Barbara Ritchie of Reading.
Her memorial service will be held in the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave.,
Wakefield on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
There will be no visiting hours.
