Elizabeth A. Gouveia, 45, of Wakefield died on Friday, February 22 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers.

Born in Stoneham on July 15, 1967 she was the daughter of Nancy (Burns) Weymouth of Malden and the late James A. Weymouth.

Elizabeth was raised in Everett and was a graduate of Everett High School. She had been a Wakefield resident for the past 10 years.

In addition to her mother, Elizabeth is survived by her husband Joseph Gouveia, her two daughters; Devyn and Madison Gouveia, her six siblings; Kevin Weymouth of Stoneham, James Weymouth and his wife Joan of Methuen, Thomas Weymouth and his wife Donna of Burlington, Kathleen Joyce and her husband John of Malden, Maureen Guild and her husband Thomas of Stoneham, and Nancy White and her husband Mark of Melrose. Daughter-in-law of Robert and Joanne Cook of Lynn. Sister-in-law of Michelle Gouveia of Lynn, Mark Gouveia and his wife Patty of Litchfield, NH, Toni-Marie Perrotti of Manchester, NH, Nicole Cook of Lynn, and the late Christi Cook. Special friend of Mary Crafts of Everett, Joann Crafts of Melrose, Charlene Livingston-Flint, Stephanie Guerriero, Sandy Czarnota, Denise Ronzio, and Linda Messina all of Wakefield. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave, Wakefield, on Thursday at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass in the Most Blessed Sacrament Church, 1155 Main St., Wakefield at 10am. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the Funeral Home on Wednesday from 4-8pm. Interment will be at Lakeside Cemetery in Wakefield.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Liz Gouveia Fund c/o The Savings Bank, 357 Main St., Wakefield, MA 01880.
