Elizabeth Morris

Elizabeth I . Morris , 85 a lifelong resident of Lynnfield died at her home Thursday January 12. Born in Lynnfield she was the daughter of the late A. Benjamin and Myrtle (Ramsdell) Wormstead.

Elizabeth was educated in the Lynnfield and Wakefield Public School Systems. She was active with the Lynnfield Historical Commission, and the Lynnfield Knights of Columbus. She was also an animal lover.

Elizabeth was the wife of the late James E. Morris with whom she shared 56 years of marriage. She is survived by her 3 daughters; Carol E. Inman, and her husband Robert W. of North Reading, Susan A. Roach and husband John A. of Lynnfield, and Linda L. Ricker and husband David of Lynnfield; 4 grandchildren, Ann M. Trites, Thomas, Susan, and James Ricker; 2 great grandchildren, Emily Sullivan and Devin Trites, and 2 great great grandchildren, Lily Rose Sullivan, and Patrick Sullivan. She was preceded in death by her brother Gardner B. Wormstead.

A Funeral Service will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Tuesday at 2 p.m. Visitation for family and friends will be held prior to the Funeral Service from 1 to 2 p.m.

Interment, Willow Cemetery, Lynnfield.
