Elizabeth Monterisi

Elizabeth J . Monterisi , 86, of Portland, ME formerly of Wakefield, died on Saturday, April 11 at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough, ME.

Born in Wakefield on February 20, 1923 she was the daughter of the late Lyle and Rena (Muse) Cheatham.

Mrs. Monterisi was raised in Wakefield and had attended Wakefield Public Schools. She had worked for at the former Transitron as an assembler and also the former L.B. Evans Shoe Company in Wakefield where she met her husband, Peter.

Mrs. Monterisi was the wife of the late Peter J . Monterisi . She was the mother of Lylea Latham and her husband Joseph R. Allosso of Falmouth, ME and Carol Maccini and her husband Louis of Baltimore, MD. She was the sister of the late Lyle and Ronald Cheatham. She was the grandmother of Derek Latham and his wife Lorie, Mark Latham and his wife Maria Bravo-Latham, Sharon Maccini and her husband Dean Yang and the late Michael Maccini. She was the great grandmother of Lana Yang-Maccini.

A Funeral service will be held in the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield, on Saturday at 9 AM. Relatives and friends may call at the Funeral Home on Friday 4-8 PM. Interment, Forest Glade Cemetery, Wakefield.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House, 11 Hunnewell Rd., Scarborough, ME 04074.
