Elizabeth Olson

Elizabeth M . Olson , 84, of Wakefield died on Saturday, February 2 at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital.

Born on December 23, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Margaret Kehoe.

Mrs. Olson was raised in Revere and was a graduate of Revere High School. She had been a Wakefield resident since 1967. Mrs. Olson was a retired crossing guard for the Town of Wakefield for 25 years.

She was the wife of the late Walter A. Olson . Mrs. Olson is survived by her son Walter A. Olson , Jr. and his wife Caryl of Wakefield, her two grandchildren; Laura Melendy and Chris Olson and his wife Cathy, her five great grandchildren; Camden, Annalyssa and Taliah Melendy and Christopher and Ashlyn Olson and her sister Regina Sanders of Revere.

A funeral service will be held in the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave, Wakefield on Wednesday at 11am. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the Funeral Home on Tuesday from 5-7pm. Interment will be at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park in Peabody.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hallmark VNA and Hospice, 178 Savin St., Malden, MA 02148
