Elizabeth Schloss

Elizabeth C. "Betty" Schloss, 86, a lifelong resident of Greenwood died on Monday, June 29 at her home.

Born in Winchester on January 31, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Frank L. and Izannah (Lucas) Edson.

Mrs. Schloss was a graduate of Wakefield High School, Class of 1941. She had worked for the original Dunkin Donuts in Wakefield, McFadden Manor in Malden and Valles Steak House and the New England House both in Saugus. Mrs. Schloss was a life long member of the Greenwood Union Church and a member of the Eastern Star.

Mrs. Schloss was the wife of James S. Schloss. She was the mother of Janet Tetrault and her husband David and Barbara Schloss all of Wakefield, Howard Schloss and his wife Deborah of Texas, Richard Schloss and his wife Maggie of Wilmington, Betsy Richmond of Tewksbury. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Christopher and his wife Christine, Andrew and his wife Christine, Janelle, Timothy and his wife Tiffany, Erich, Heather and David.

A funeral service will be held at the Greenwood Union Church, Corner of Main and Oak St., Wakefield on Monday at 11 am. Relatives and friends may call at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Sunday from 1 to 5 pm. Interment will be at Lakeside Cemetery in Wakefield.
