Elizabeth Stack

Stack, Elizabeth Mary, "Liz", age 86, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Monday, November 20, 2017.

Liz was born and raised in Loughill, County Limerick, Ireland and in 1954 moved to the Bronx, NY where she spent most of her adult life before living in Lincroft, NJ and then Lynnfield, MA. After a career in the insurance industry Liz retired to devote herself to her favorite pastimes of volunteering for the Catholic Church, traveling to visit family in Ireland and acting as the family photographer at many a family gathering. Liz was also accomplished in speaking Gaelic or "Irish" as it is known in Ireland and took additional language studies after high school. She was a devoted sister to her siblings and a generous Aunt to her many nieces and nephews and her friendly nature, deep faith, infectious humor and simplicity of living was a lesson to us all.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Patrick and Johanna Stack, her sister Peggy (Ryan) and her husband Martin and her brother Maurice "Mossie" Stack and his wife Norah . She is survived by her sister Mai (Hastings) and her husband Patrick, her sister Joan (Brandon) and her husband Allan, brother Patrick Stack and his wife Kathleen, brother Robert Stack and wife Anne as well as many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews in Ireland and the United States. Liz was so loved and will be sorely missed by all.

Private family services will be held in Exeter, NH and Ireland and a private Catholic burial will be in Exeter NH.
