Ella Dolan

Ella Marie Dolan, 100, passed away at the Kirkwood Nursing Home in Wakefield on Sunday, August 16 after a long illness.

Born in Wakefield on December 15, 1908, she was the daughter of the late Judge, George M. and Daisy (Eaton) Poland.

Mrs. Dolan was a graduate of the Brimmer School, class of 1927. She had also graduated from Wellesley College, Class of 1931 and the Boston University School of Law, Class of 1936, where she had been a member of the Law Review Board. Mrs. Dolan practiced Law with the firm of Poland & Roy on School St. in Boston, for many years.

Mrs. Dolan was the mother of Diane Bennett of Grimsby, Ontario, Canada and A. Barr Dolan, Jr. and his wife Chantal Dolan of Palo Alto, CA. She is survived by her grandchildren Ella Dolan and Arthur Barr Dolan, III of CA.

A graveside service will be held at the Lakeside Cemetery on Tuesday, August 18 at 9:00 A.M. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.

Arrangements are in the care of the McDonald Funeral Home, Wakefield.
