Elmira Caprio

Elmira E . Caprio , 89, of Wakefield, formerly of Chelsea and Everett died Tuesday, September 18, at Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers.

Born in Chelsea, MA June 14, 1923 she was the daughter of the late Domenico and Michelina (Pasquale) Lepore. She was raised in Chelsea and Everett and had been a Wakefield resident for the past 20 years.

She was the wife of the late Lawrence J. Caprio . She was the mother of Sandra Colonna and her husband Thomas of Boxford , Denise Caprio and Lauren O'Donnell and her husband Hugh all of Wakefield. She was the grandmother of Danielle, Ryan and Shane and the late Tommy. Mrs. Caprio was also the sister of the late Dora Cutone and Esther Fiorentino.

Her funeral service will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Friday 1:00pm. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the funeral home prior to the service beginning at 11:00am. Interment will be at Lakeside Cemetery in Wakefield
