Elouise T. Bjorkman, 87, of Lynnfield died on Friday, October 21 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers.
Born in Swampscott on August 17, 1924 she was the daughter of the late George E. and Gladys (Nugent) Tibedo.
Mrs. Bjorkamn was raised in Lynn and had been a Lynnfield resident since 1950. She was a graduate of Chandler Business School in Boston.
Mrs. Bjorkman was a member of the Pequaket Hiking Club. She was also a member of NAMI, the Lynn Shelter Association and involved in local mental health affairs and was an active member and past secretary at the Centre Congregational Church in Lynnfield.
Mrs. Bjorkman was the wife of the late Roy K.A. Bjorkman. She was the mother of David A. Bjorkman & his wife Diane of Malden, Philip R. Bjorkman of Salem & Karen Terwilliger and her husband Jerry of SC. She was the sister of Sherman Tibedo & his wife Rhoda and the grandmother of Johanna Lincoln, Danielle Johanson and Elyssa & Ariel Bjorkman. Also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
A celebration of her life will be held in the Centre Congregational Church, Lynnfield on Saturday Nov. 5 at 2:00pm. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
