Elvera Vozzella

Elvera A . Vozzella , 92, of Lynnfield died Saturday, January 3 at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington.

Born in Boston on March 14, 1916 she was the daughter of the late Salvatore and (Merenda) Carbone.

Mrs. Vozzella was a graduate of Everett High School, Class of 1934. She was a member of the Women's club of Lynnfield, St. Maria Goretti Church in Lynnfield. Mrs. Vozzella volunteered at Church Fairs at St. Maria Goretti Church and New England Memorial Hospital in Stoneham.

Mrs. Vozzella was the wife of the late Michael Vozzella . She is survived by her two daughters; Nannette Dolan & her husband Thomas of Stoneham and Michele Martindale & her husband Paul of Lynnfield. Mrs. Vozzella is also survived by her four grandchildren; Thomas Dolan, Matthew, Christina and Timothy Martindale. She was predeceased by her two brothers; Salvatore and Guy Carbone and her three sisters; Josephine Carbone, Joan Pokrant and Tina Tiberio.

Her funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave, Wakefield on Friday at 9AM followed by a funeral mass in St, Maria Goretti Church, 112 Chestnut St, Lynnfield at 10 AM. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday 4-8 PM. Interment will be at Forest Hill Cemetery in Lynnfield.
