E. Max Antle

E. Max Antle of Stoneham died on Friday, March 20 at his home.

Born in Trimble, OH, he was the son of the late Wayne and Marie (Barstow) Antle.

Mr. Antle graduated from High School in Ohio and also attended the University of Kentucky. He was a WWII and Korean Conflict veteran serving in the Marine Corp., retiring as a Lt. Colonel. He had worked as a National Sales Rep. for United McGill Corp.

Mr. Antle had been a Stoneham resident for the past 23 years. He was a member of the Masonic Hall in Ohio and the Scottish Rite also in Ohio.

Mr. Antle was the beloved husband of Eileen (Smith) Antle. Father of Susan Antle of VA, Gregory Antle of FL, Nancy Snyder, of OH, Jane Bowman of GA, and Karen Kerr of OH. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

A Funeral Service will be held in the Jager and Sons Funeral Home, Athens, OH on Saturday April 4 at 11:30 A.M. Interment will be in Maplewood Cemetery, Glouster, OH. A memorial service will be held locally at a later date.

Arrangements are in the care of the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home in Stoneham.
