Erica Matuszewski

Erica Irena Matuszewski , 11, of Wakefield died on Tuesday, October 19 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers.

Born in Boston on June 25, 1999 she was the daughter of Mark T. and Cynthia J. (Carlberg) Matuszewski .

Erica was raised in Wakefield. She had attended the Dolbeare Elementary School in Wakefield and the Northshore Education Consortium in Beverly. She was also a member of the Community Covenant Church in Peabody.

In addition to her parents Erica is survived by her brother Jack M. Matuszewski , her grandparents, David and Eleanor (Moores) Carlberg and Danusia (Odyniec) Matuszewski . She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Erica was predeceased by her grandfather, Teofil Matuszewski .

A visitation will be held at the Community Covenant Church, 33 Lake St., Peabody on Saturday starting at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m. A visitation will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Interment will be at Forest Glade cemetery in Wakefield.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Northshore Education Consortium, Play Space Fund, 112 Sohier Rd, Beverly, MA 01915.
