Erik Vinciguerra

Erik D . Vinciguerra , 41, of Wakefield passed away suddenly on Sunday, October 18, at his residence.

Erik was born in Plainsfield, New Jersey on April 19, 1979 and was the son of Frederick J. and Kathleen M. (Nelson) Vinciguerra .

Erik was raised in Wakefield and attended the Wakefield Public Schools until high school and graduated from St. John's Prep, Class of 1997. He later attended Ithica College and worked as an IT Specialist for many companies. He was an avid Boston sports fan and loved spending time with his family and his kids.

In addition to his parents, Erik was the beloved husband of Marissa L. (Silverio) Vinciguerra . He was the loving father of Salvatore D . and Ava R. Vinciguerra . He was the brother of Keith L. Vinciguerra and his fiancé Elizabeth Hunnefeld of Amesbury, Kelly M. ( Vinciguerra ) Sullivan and her husband Brian of Wakefield, and Michael F. Vinciguerra and his fiancé Jennifer Noe of Amesbury. He was the son-in-law of Gerard A. and Dianne M. Silverio of Stoneham and the brother-in-law of Jay M. Silverio and his wife Julie of Tewksbury.

His Funeral will be held in the St. Joseph Church, 173 Albion St., Wakefield on Friday at 11am. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Thursday from 4-7pm. Interment, Forest Glade Cemetery, Wakefield.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Erik's name may be made out to St. Jude Medical Center, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
