Erin Rebecca DeRosa, 43 of Boston, MA formerly of Lynnfield, MA died Wednesday October 6, in Winchester, MA after a long courageous battle with breast cancer.
Born in Lynn, MA February 26, 1967 she was the daughter of Arthur and Gail (Carleton) DeRosa of Lynnfield.
Erin was a graduate of Lynnfield High School Class of 1985 and Salem State College in 1990. She was an Information Specialist for Bank of America in Boston. Erin was active in the Ellie Fund, and Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
In addition to her parents Erin is survived by her sisters and brother; Stacey A. MacDonald and husband James E. of Dover, NH, Paige S. DeRosa-Walsh and husband William of Haverhill, Keith DeRosa of Revere, and Megan R.A. Croce and husband Brian of Conway, NH; nieces and nephews, Lindsay R. MacDonald, Jared M. Hillis, Benjamin and Robin Croce, and Madison Walsh. She is also survived by her dear cousins, Daniel, Heather, Ally, and Nick Daglio.
The funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Monday at 10:30am followed by a Funeral Mass in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Grove and Salem St., at 11:30am. A period of visitation will be held at the Funeral Home on Sunday 1-5pm.
Interment at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park in Peabody.
