Estella Flynn

Estella Grace Flynn, 85, of Stoneham died on Monday, April 13 at the Wingate at Reading.

Born in Wakefield on September 18, 1929 she was the daughter of the late Glenn and Phoebe (Carpenter) Downs.

Mrs. Flynn was a graduate of Wilmington High School. She had been a Stoneham resident for the past 64 years and was a member of St. Patrick Parish in Stoneham.

Mrs. Flynn was the wife of the late Joseph W. Flynn, Jr. She is survived by her three daughters; Karen Kramer and her husband Monte of North Andover, MaryAnn Serafini and her husband Frank of Westford, Joanne Flynn Ball of Clermont, FL, her son-in-law William Brehm of Middleton and her two brothers; Ned Downs of Wilmington and Clifton Downs of Marshfield. Mrs. Flynn is also survived by her nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter Deborah Brehm.

Her Funeral Mass will be held on Friday at St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St., Stoneham at 10am. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home, 322 Main St., Stoneham on Friday from 8:30-9:30am. Interment will be at St. Patrick Cemetery in Stoneham.
