Estelle Angi

Estelle J. Angi, 81, of Stoneham died on Wednesday, March 13 at her residence.

Born in Boston on October 12, 1921 she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Etta (Luisi) Vurusso.

Mrs. Angi was a graduate of Boston Trade High School. She had been a Stoneham resident since 1960. Mrs. Angi had worked as a hairdresser at Mario's Beauty Salon in Stoneham and as a bank teller at Stoneham Savings Bank. She was a former member of the Daughter's of Italy in Stoneham.

Mrs. Angi was the wife of the late Michael J. Angi. She was the mother of Michael J. Angi and his wife Dorcas of Exeter, RI, Carmen M. O'Brien and her husband Michael and Joseph J. Angi all of Stoneham. Mrs. Angi was the sister of Michael Virusso of Medford. She is also survived by her 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Her funeral will be held from the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home, 322 Main St., Stoneham on Monday at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St., Stoneham at 10am. Visitation for relatives and friends will be at the Funeral Home on Sunday from 2-6pm. Interment will be at Lindenwood Cemetery in Stoneham.
