Reilly
of Lynnfield, passed away peacefully in her sleep early Saturday morning, July 2nd of heart failure, She was 87.
Born in Revere on October 6, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Ann (LaTorre) and stepdaughter of the late Henry Tracy of Revere.
Mrs.
Reilly
was a graduate of Revere High School, class of 1941 and Chelsea Memorial Hospital School of Nursing, class of 1944. The Commonwealth of Massachusetts certified her as a registered nurse on January 16, 1945.
Married in 1945 to her long time bow, Leo; they soon started their family and moved to Lynnfield in 1953, where she turned a house into a home. In addition to her nursing career, she raised her family and cared for her husband through several years of disability. After forty one years as a nurse, she retired from Lynn Union Hospital in 1986. Since her retirement,
Ethel
had enjoyed working around the house, in the yard, and tending to her gardens. She also enjoyed card games at the senior center. The library, and until recently, was an avid bowler. She was a member of the Lynnfield Women's Club and also a member of the Ladies' Sodality.

is survived by her daughter Jane Bean and her husband Stephen of Reading; two sons, Dennis of North Reading and James of Lynnfield; five grandchildren, Courtney Genzale and her husband Matthew of Peabody, Kristen Crowley and her husband Jeffrey of Reading, Matthew

and his wife Diana of North Reading, Colleen
Reilly
of Wakefield, and Marriette
Reilly
of North Reading. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Mary Carroll of Framingham, and her brother-in-law, Ronald
Reilly
of Dover, NH as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter-in-law Jayne, her brother John, and by her husband Leo, with whom she shared 59 years of marriage.
Her funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Maria Goretti Church, 112 Chestnut St. Lynnfield, on Saturday July 9 at 10 A.M. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Interment will be at Forest Hill Cemetery, Lynnfield. Arrangements are in the care of the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave Wakefield.
