Eugenia K. Jack, 93, of Wakefield passed away Wednesday, January 21 peacefully at home.
Born in Wakefield on October 1, 1915 she was the daughter of the late Ferdinand and Mary (Wojtowicz) Kulacz.
A lifelong resident of Wakefield, she had been employed in earlier years by Paul K. Guillow Inc., Fraen Corp. and Transitron Company in Wakefield. She was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church.
Mrs. Jack was the wife of the late William D. Jack who predeceased her in 1993. She is survived by two daughters, Carolyn M. Kulig and her husband Richard of Dennis and Elizabeth A. Turner of Arlington, her brother Edward Kulacz of Wakefield and two grandchildren; Melissa Kulig of Malden and Christopher Kulig of Wakefield. She was the sister of the late Carolyn Staff, Helen O'Neill, Adelaide Terravecchia, Mary Kulacz and Stanley, Emil, Henry and George Kulacz.
The family would also like to acknowledge special thanks to Lawrence Staff, her brother-in-law, as well as to her devoted caregivers; Karen Izzett, Charlene Porter, Jane Goldstein and Ellyn Landers.
A funeral service will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Saturday at 11 A.M. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 4 to 7 P.M. Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield following the service.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701 or the Arthritis Association, P.O. Box 96280, Washington DC 20077-7491.
