Eva M. Applin, 97, a long time Lynnfield resident died Wednesday, August 11 at her home.
Born in Everett on September 5, 1912 she was the daughter of the late Robert H. and Margaret J. (Thompson) Graham.
Mrs. Applin was a graduate of Everett High School. She had worked as an assistant to the town Administrator in the Town of Lynnfield until her retirement in 1982. She had worked as a real estate agent in Wakefield. She was a founding member of the former Trinity Baptist Church in Lynnfield and had been the organist for over 50 years.
Mrs. Applin was the wife of the late Owen E. Applin. She was the mother of Nancy Lovelace and her husband Richard of E. Charleston, VT, Robin Applin and his wife Deborah of Middleton, and Richard Applin and his wife Rosey Lee of Boston. She was the sister of the late John Graham. She is also survived by her four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at the First Baptist Church in Wakefield on Saturday, Aug. 21 at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to WorldVision, PO Box 9716 Federal Way, WA. 98063-9716, Source Code: 10542936.
