Evelyn Aimo

Evelyn C. Aimo. Age 81 died Tuesday February 6 in Marblehead. She was born in Woburn on August 22, 1936 and was the daughter of the late Frank and Edith (Yarossi) Starble. Evelyn was raised in Woburn and was a graduate of Woburn High School. She was a camera enthusiast, and with her late husband Karl and also enjoyed many years of Ballroom Dancing.

Evelyn was the beloved wife of the late Karl H. Aimo. She was the loving mother of Douglas Jones of Lynn, Patricia DeMars of Saugus and Paula Pellino of Lynn. She was the sister of Edith "Sis" Starble and Frances "Marty" Starble and his wife Evelyn, all of Woburn and the late Dorothy Mahoney. She was also the grandmother of Francis Pellino, Joanne Lawhon, Michael DeMars, Douglas DeMars, and Alicia DeMars. Also survived by two great grandchildren Thomas and Alayna.

Her Funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home 19 Yale Ave. Wakefield Saturday February 10th at 10 am followed by a Graveside Service at the Lakeside Cemetery, North Ave. Wakefield at 11:00. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the Funeral Home on Friday from 3-7pm
