Evelyn Mancuso

Evelyn D. Mancuso, 89, of Wakefield died on Wednesday, October 30 at the Kindred Hospital in Peabody.

Born in Somerville on May 5, 1924 she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Giulia (Pierotti) Mancuso.

Mrs. Mancuso was a graduate of Somerville High School, Class of 1942. She was had retired for the Federal Government as a clerk. Mrs. Mancuso had been a Wakefield resident since 1966. She was an active member at the Wakefield Senior Center and an active member of the Most Blessed Sacrament Church in Wakefield and had enjoyed playing Bingo.

Mrs. Mancuso was the wife of the late Salvatore Mancuso. She is survived by her son Richard Mancuso of Wakefield and her three nephews; Robert Duva, Steven Duva and Alfred Mastracchio. Mrs. Mancuso was predeceased by her brother Mario Duva and her sister Marietta Mastracchio.

Her funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave, Wakefield on Monday at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass in the Most Blessed Sacrament Church, 1155 Main St., Wakefield at 10am. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the Funeral Home on Sunday from 1-4pm. Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett.
