E. Patricia "Pat" Scarano , 73, of North Reading formerly of Wakefield and Lynnfield died at the Melrose Wakefield Hospital on Monday November 19, surrounded by her family.

Born in Newton, MA July, 27, 1939 she was the daughter of the late Charles and Mary J. (Pierce) Sheehan.

Pat was a graduate of Newton High School class of 1957. She was a devoted mother, wife, grandmother and friend. Pat was a faithful follower of Christ who loved serving others, giving generously to all. She had a passion for poetry, writing hundreds of poems over the years, with a heart for sharing them with others. She was an avid student of the Bible and was quick to go to God in prayer on all occasions. Pat was known by her family and local church community as a prayer warrior. She was also a successful antiques sealer regarded in the area for her gifted eye for jewelry, and a remarkable talent for interior design.

Pat was the beloved wife of Henry Scarano , the devoted mother of Peggy Solimine of Bonita Springs, FL, Tommy Duffy of Wakefield, Deirdre Sommerkamp of Burlington, Mark Scarano of Ipswich, Christina Scarano of Wakefield, and Joe Scarano of Poplar Bluff, MO. She was the sister of Barbara Withers of Tallahassee, FL, and Robert Sheehan of Spring Hill, FL.
She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and many other relatives and close friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service in celebration of her life at the Trinity Evangelical Church, 105 Haverhill St., No. Reading, on Saturday December 8, at 10 a.m. Arrangements are in the care of the McDonald Funeral Home, Wakefield.
