Evelyn M. Polito, 91, of Stafford Springs, CT, formerly of Somerville died on Tuesday, February 19 in Stafford Springs, CT.

Ms. Polito was a graduate of Somerville High School. She was past owner and administrator for Polito Bros. Oil Company in Somerville.

Loving mother of James Polito of Melrose, Robert Polito of Baltimore, MD , Vincent Polito of Westport, CT. and Janet Polito of Yarmouthport. Beloved grandmother of Christian and Francesca. Former wife of Vincent D. Polito.

Her funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home 19 Yale Ave. Wakefield Saturday at 9am followed by a funeral mass in St. Joseph Church 173 Albion St. Wakefield at 10:00. Interment will be at Oak Grove Cemetery in Medford. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the funeral home Friday 4-8pm.
