, 87, of Wakefield, formerly of Medford and Charlestown died on Wednesday, July 10 at the Winchester Hospital.
Born in Boston on May 11, 1926 she was the daughter of the late Michael and Grace (DeChristoforo) Jesso.
Mrs.
Perrone
was raised in Charlestown. She was a graduate of the Girls' High School of Boston and Burdett College in Boston.
Mrs.
Perrone
had been a Wakefield resident since 1984. She had worked for Travelers Insurance Co. as an auto insurance rater. Mrs.
Perrone
was a member of St. Joseph parish in Medford and the Ladies' Sodality at the church.
She was the wife of the late Domenic C.
Perrone
. She was the mother of Michael A.
Perrone
and Paula A. Bernard and husband Peter, all of Wakefield and Anthony M.
Perrone
of Quincy. She was the sister of Rocco Jesso, Lee Jesso and Mary Jesso, all of Charlestown and the grandmother of Julia, Michael, Marissa, Ashley and Bryan.
Her funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield Tuesday at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass in St. Joseph Church, 173 Albion St., Wakefield at 10 a.m. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 4-8 p.m. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden.
