Florence Kulacz

Florence Kulacz , 94, was always our Energizer Bunny - she just kept on going! Sadly, on June 21, she finally ran out of energy. Hers was a life well-lived, always helping people and saying something positive to most everyone she met.

The family dubbed her The Sole Survivor of Emerson Street. She couldn't believe that she had outlived all the parents of our childhood friends - the Conways, the Sullivans, the Costellos, the Stoneys and the Jeffersons - so many great families! So many fond memories growing up on a street with so many good friends.

Everything, it seems, gave her so much pleasure!

She was so lucky to have so much joy in her life and to have lived in her own home for 94 glorious years! We were all so fortunate to have had her in our lives for such a long time!

Florence was the beloved wife of her loving husband, the late Edward (she was always amazed that she was able to snag such a handsome man)!
She is survived by her two daughters - Susan Schott and her husband, Buz and Karen Morrell and her husband, Alan. She also leaves her daughter-in-law, Sandi Kulacz . Sadly, Florence was predeceased by her only son, David in 1994.
Her three grandchildren will miss her terribly - Taryn Wilsterman and her husband, Eric; Jillian DeMaria and her husband, Ryan; and Cory Kulacz and his fiancée, Stephanie Kelly.

Florence was absolutely delighted when the cutest great granddaughter in the world (no bias there!) was born eight months ago. To be sure, Logan will be hearing tales of her wonderful great grandmother for years to come.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Oosterman's Rest Home in Wakefield for their expert care and heartfelt compassion during her brief stay there. We are also grateful to her devoted caregivers - Cathy, Karen, Toni, and Joan for bringing so much happiness into her life.

Private funeral services were held.
