, 87 of Wakefield died Thursday September 20 in Winchester.
Born in Quincy, MA on August 24, 1925 she was the daughter of the late Francis and
Florence
M
. (Ford) Bailey.
Mrs.
Sinclair
was raised in Wakefield and was a graduate of Wakefield High School. She was retired from New England Telephone and was a member of the New England Telephone Pioneer Association. Mrs.
Sinclair
had also lived in Melrose and was a member of the ladies auxiliary V.F.W. Post 2346 in Saugus where she had served as both Chaplin and a past president.
Mrs.
Sinclair
was the beloved wife of George R.
Sinclair
and the late Donald R. Bowen. She was the loving mother of John F. Bowen of NH, Scott D. Bowen & his wife Donna of Melrose, Donna
M
. Broadhead & her husband David of NH, Diane F. McCarthy& her late husband Eugene of Melrose, and the late Richard, James and Donald R. Bowen, Jr. She was the sister of the late Timothy, Raymond, Harold & Frank Bailey. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Her funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Tuesday at 9am followed by a funeral mass in St. Joseph Church, 173 Albion St., Wakefield at 10 o'clock. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the funeral home Monday 4-8 pm. Interment will be at Lakeside Cemetery in Wakefield.
