Florence Russo

Florence E. Russo, a lifelong Stoneham resident died Sunday May 14 at the Bear Hill Nursing Center at 90 years of age.

She was born in Stoneham on June 3, 1926 and was the daughter of the late John and Florence (Gray) Knight. She was a graduate of Stoneham High School, Class of 1944. She was retired from the Food and Drug Administration after many years of service. She had been a life member of the St. James United Methodist Church of Stoneham.

Florence is survived by her daughters Diane Keull, Bonnie Cobb and Tracey Davis and her son Donald Russo. She was the sister of Robert "Butch" Knight, Beverly Davis and the late Henry "Hink" Knight, Gerry Knight, John Knight and Ruth DeMoor. She is also survived by her nine grandchildren and many great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Visitation for relatives and friends will be held in the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home 322 Main St. Stoneham on Thursday from 5-7 pm. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Interment services will be private. www.mcdonaldfs.com
