Florence Weaver

Florence Weaver, 87, a life long Wakefield resident died on Monday, December 30 at the Wingate at Reading.

Born in Wakefield on March 12, 1926 she was the daughter of the late Augustino and Assunta (Freda) Petrillo.

Mrs. Weaver was a graduate of Wakefield High School. She was a member of St. Florence Parish in Wakefield. Mrs. Weaver had also worked at Oosterman's Rest Home in Wakefield.

She was the wife of the late Gordon L. Weaver. Mrs. Weaver is survived by her four children; Linda Elliot, Robert L. Weaver and David G. Weaver and his wife Anne all of Wakefield and Deborah Swaggard and her husband Wayne of Lowell, her sister Mary Oliveri of Wakefield. She is also survived by her 12 grandchildren and her 8 great grandchildren. Mrs. Weaver was predeceased by her son Gary Weaver, her six siblings; Augustine Petrillo, Josephine Montori, Phyllis Roberto, Frederick Petrillo, Frank Petrillo and Anthony Petrillo.

A funeral service will be held in the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Thursday at 11am. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the Funeral Home prior to the service starting at 10am. Interment will be held at Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield.
