, 94, of Wakefield died on Sunday, January 22, 2012 at Woodbriar of Wilmington.
Born in Lawrence on December 5, 1917 she was the daughter of the late Frank and Eva (Wedge) Garneau.
Frances
was a resident of Wakefield since 1953. She graduated from St. Margaret's High School, Dorchester, in 1936.
Frances
loved children. She was active in Cub Scouts and Camp Fire Girls for many years and cared for many children at her in-home child care service. She also enjoyed gardening, auto trips with her sister Evelyn, and shopping at toy auctions for her charity yard sales. She was a longtime volunteer at the Wakefield Interfaith Food Pantry.

was predeceased by her husband John
Boudreau
and brother Oliver Garneau. She is survived by her three children, John

of Lexington, Paul
Boudreau
of Wakefield, and Mary (
Boudreau
) Lowe and Mary's husband Donald Lowe and their son Michael Lowe, all of Andover. She is also survived by her sister Evelyn Garneau of Wakefield and brother Edward Garneau of Whitman.
Her funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Friday at 10 a.m. followed by Funeral Mass at St. Joseph Church, 173 Albion St., Wakefield at 11 a.m. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the Funeral Home on Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. Internment will be at the Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden.
