Francesco, "Frank" J. Angelini, 85, of Dracut, formerly of Wakefield, No. Reading, and Bartlett, NH died on Tuesday, November 1 at the Holy Family Hospital in Methuen.

Born in Melrose on November 19, 1925 he was the son of the late Settimio and Philomena (Da�(TM)Agostino) Angelini.

Frank was a graduate of Wakefield High School, class of 1944. He was an Army veteran of WWII serving as a Staff Sergeant with the 482 B-29 Bomb Squadron, 505th group, Pacific Theatre. He was a recipient of the Distinguished Flying Cross and Three Oakleaf Clusters. He was a plasterer by trade and later became a builder/developer.

Frank was a two time President of the Crystal Community Club of Wakefield. He loved the mountains, his family, helping anyone that crossed his path, and cooking up Italian feasts for everyone that walked in the door. He was also an avid golfer.

Frank was the dearest husband of Shirley (Doucette) Angelini. He was the cherished father of Frank Angelini Jr., Keith Angelini, Shirley White, Settimio Angelini, Nancy Theroux, Susan Stallman, and their spouses. He was the beloved brother of Mary McCue and Richard Angelini. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held in the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Saturday at 11 A.M. A visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the Funeral Home on Friday 4-8 p.m.
