Francis Cataldo

Francis "Willie" Cataldo , age 82, of Stoneham, passed away on Thursday December 16 surrounded by his loved ones after a courageous battle with Mesothelioma.

He was born in Stoneham, MA on October 5, 1939 and was the son of the late Frank and Lucy (Piccirilli) Cataldo .

Willie owned and operated Middlesex Transmission Rebuilders in Stoneham for over 30 years and was married to the love of his life Deborah "Debby" (Berlan) Cataldo for over 50 years.

Willie is survived by his loving daughters; Renee Cataldo and her husband Todd Goodwin of North Andover, Gina Cataldo of Stoneham, and Nicole ( Cataldo ) Catherwood and her husband Rob of Billerica. He adored his six grandchildren: Kaylee, Mikalyn, Nathan, Cadeb, Lucas, and Alessia. He is pre-deceased by his loving brother Ralph Cataldo and sister Laraine Cataldo .

Willie enjoyed life to the fullest; he loved riding his motorcycle, gambling at the casino, spending time with his family and carrying our Italian traditions of making sauce, Pizzagaina, and Limoncello. He loved cracking jokes and being the life of the party. Above all else, he loved vacationing with his family and friends.

Funeral Services are private and in the care of the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home, 322 Main St., Stoneham.
