Frank Cosentino , 69, of Wakefield died Wednesday, February 2, surrounded by his family.
He was born in Everett on July 18, 1952, the son of Joseph M. and Mary (Penta) Cosentino , and moved to Wakefield in childhood.
Through his work as a salesman, Frank traveled worldwide, but always preferred to be home with his family. Frank enjoyed boating, spending every summer on Lake Monomonac in New Hampshire. Frank is remembered for his ability to fix just about anything.
He was the loving husband of Andrea (Flaherty) Cosentino , beloved father of Emily Holland and her husband Christopher of Glastonbury, CT and Joseph Cosentino of Malden, and was idolized by his grandchildren, Teddy and Henry. Frank was the brother of Mary Hegarty and her husband William of Wakefield, Adele Cosentino of Londonderry, NH, Joanne Minihan and her husband Al of Wakefield, and Judy Mersereau and her husband David of Salem, NH. Frank is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation for relative and friends will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Tuesday from 4-7 p.m. Funeral Mass to be celebrated at St. Joseph Church, 173 Albion St., Wakefield on Wednesday at 10 a.m. Internment Forest Glade Cemetery, Wakefield.
