, 93, a life long resident of Wakefield, died on Thursday, June 18 at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital.
Born in Wakefield on May 20, 1916, he was the son of the late Wallace and Catherine (Doucette)

Mr.
Muse
was raised and educated in Wakefield. He was a retired foreman for General Tire in Reading. During World War II he served in the US Army from 1941 to 1945.
Mr.
Muse
was a member of the West Side Social Club in Wakefield and a member of the Disabled American Veterans. He was also an avid bowler and enjoyed trips to Foxwoods.

was the husband of the late Sarah

. He is survived by his son,

Muse
and his wife Patricia of Melrose, two daughters, Sally McHugh and her husband Thomas of Southborough and Mary Reynolds and her husband Thomas of Orlando, FL, his sister, Marjorie L. Enos of Reading and his dear friend Mary Roach of Wakefield. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
His funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave, Wakefield on Monday at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Joseph Church 173 Albion St, Wakefield at 10am. Relatives and friends may call at the Funeral Home on Sunday from 2 to 5 pm. Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Disabled American Veterans, VA Regional Office, Rm. 1575B, JFK Fed. Bldg. Government Ctr., Boston, MA 02203.
