Frank Howard

Frank H. Howard, Jr., 87, a lifelong resident of Stoneham died at the Epoch of Weston on Wednesday June 19th.

Born in Amesbury on July 6, 1925, he was the son of the late Frank and Helene (Quinn) Howard.

Frank was a graduate of Stoneham High School and Boston University. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. Frank was the former owner of the Kent Agency of Boston. He was an active town member of Stoneham sitting as Chairman of the Finance Committee and he also chaired the Unicorn Golf Course and Stoneham Arena.

Frank was the husband of the late Elizabeth (Crowley) Howard. He was the father of Janis Maley and her husband Greg of Weymouth, Paul Howard and his wife Diane Fingold of W. Newton, Greg Howard and his wife Jill of Basking Ridge, NJ, and Andrea Howard of Brighton. He was the brother of Eileen Dodd of VA, Edith Valway of NH, and the late Ruth Walker and Joan Louth. He was also the Grandfather of Gregory Webster, Ryan Webster, Ben and Leah Howard, and Jack and Kitt Howard.

A Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St., Stoneham on Friday July 12 at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends invited to attend.

Interment, St. Patrick Cemetery, Stoneham.
