Frank Paul Rivera, age 55, of Stoneham, MA passed away on Monday, September 23rd.
Frank was raised in Stoneham, MA and was a graduate of Stoneham High School, Class of 1982. In 1990, Frank joined the Department of Corrections and sustained a career ending injury which made him disabled. In 1995, he married Desiree (Vitiello) Rivera, also a resident of Stoneham. Together, they resided in Stoneham until 2000 when relocated to Salem, NH and had two beautiful daughters; ReAnn Elizabeth (22) and DayLee Marie (17) both of Salem, NH.
He was the son of Nicolina "Lovey" (LoVuolo) Rivera and the late Francisco Rivera. He was the brother of Theresa Saideh of Stoneham, Paula Rivera of California and Michelle Capadanno of Tewksbury. He was the uncle of Anthony Rivera of Stoneham. Frank also leaves behind his nieces and nephew.
Frank loved music, sports, and reading, especially the daily news. He was well versed on many subjects. Frank enjoyed being out on the lake riding his boat or fishing. Although, Frank enjoyed many hobbies his passion for life was inspired by his daughters and watching them grow. Upon being disabled, Frank spent most of the time being "Mr. Mom" and taking care of the girls alongside family. Frank truly had a caring and peaceful spirit and will be deeply and sadly missed by his family.
The family has chosen to have a private service with immediate family only. Arrangements in the care of the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home, Stoneham.
