Frederick A. Brady, 95, of Stoneham died on Wednesday, October 14 at the E.N. Rogers Memorial Veterans Hospital in Bedford.
Mr. Brady was born in Charlestown on February 26, 1920 and was the son of the late Patrick and Margaret (O'Neil) Brady.
He was a graduate of Charlestown High School. Mr. Brady was a retired manager in the Jet Engine Division at G.E. in Lynn. He had served in the United States Army Air Corps during World War II and had retired from the United States Air Force Reserve as Chief Master Sergeant. Mr. Brady was a member of the Stoneham American Legion, Stoneham Elks and the Air Force Association. He enjoyed traveling and ballroom dancing with his wife and was an avid reading, golfer and bowler.
Mr. Brady is survived by his wife Ruth L. (Long) Brady, his daughter Ruth F. Licata and her husband Francis of Windham, NH, his son Frederick A. Brady, Jr. and his partner Joy Redick of Hollister, CA, his sister Mildred Brady of FL, his two grandsons; Noel Licata and his wife Sandra and Zachary Licata and his wife Katrina and his four great grandsons; Daniel, Noel, John and Lucas Licata.
His Funeral Service will be held in the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home, 322 Main St., Stoneham on Monday at 10am. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the Funeral Home on Sunday from 1-4pm. Interment will be at St. Patrick Cemetery in Stoneham.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the E.N. Roger's Memorial Veteran Hospital, 200 Springs Rd., Bedford, MA 01730.
