Frederick Emilianowicz

Frederick J. Emilianowicz, 64, a long time Wakefield resident died Monday, July 15 at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital.

Born on February 21, 1949 he was the son of the late Frederick J. and Helen (Norkum) Emilianowicz.

Raised in Wakefield, Mr. Emilianowicz was a graduate of Wakefield High School, Class of 1967. He went on to graduate from Salem State College and later received his Masters Degree from Boston University. He had been a long time member of the Wakefield Planning Board and had recently retired from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. He was an avid photographer, and was a member of The Photographic Society of America.

Mr. Emilianowicz is survived by his brother Robert A. Emilianowicz of New Hampshire and his sister Mary H. Mussells of New York. He was also the uncle of Nikki Emilianowicz of Reading and Patricia Maxwell of Montana.

His funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Saturday at 9am followed by a funeral mass in St. Florence Church, 47 Butler Ave., Wakefield at 10:00. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the funeral home Friday 4-8pm.
