Gary Mucica

Gary M . Mucica , 62 of No. Andover and formerly of Reading died Tuesday July 3 at the Mass General Hospital in Boston.

Born in Little Falls, NY on August 28, 1949 he was the son of the late Michael J. and Ruth J. (Resler) Mucica . Mr. Mucica was a graduate of Reading High School, Class of 1967, Lowell Technical Institute in 1971 and earned his M .B.A from Suffolk University in Boston in 1974. At the time of his death he was serving as a Professor at the University of Massachusetts Lowell and was also serving as head of the M .B.A. program and also Co-Chair of the Graduate School of Management there. Mr. Mucica served as the Head Coach of the University Golf Team. He was also a member of the Andover Country Club.

Mr. Mucica is survived by his wife Sally J. (Hatfield) Mucica . He was the brother of William Mucica and his wife Carol of Tewksbury. He was also the uncle of Paul & Elizabeth Mucica and Sarah and Justin Hatfield.

A funeral service will be held at the Messiah Lutheran Church 708 Lowell St. Lynnfield on Saturday at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visitation will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave. Wakefield, on Friday 4-8 pm. Interment will take place at Puritan Lawn Cemetery in Peabody.
