George O'Neill

George H . O'Neill , 86 of Oldsmar, FL. and formerly of Stoneham died on May 23, 2014 in Florida.

Born in Somerville on November 25, 1927 he was the son of the late Vincent and Mary (McCarthy) O'Neill .

George was a long time Stoneham resident and a United States Army veteran. He was retired from the Wakefield Ready Mix Concrete Company. He was also a member and past Vice President of Teamsters Local #42.

George was the beloved husband of Mildred (Foster) O'Neill , his wife of 63 years. He was the loving father of George P. O'Neill and his wife Jackie of Morningside, OH. Daniel J. O'Neill of Nashua NH., Robert E. O'Neill and his wife Laurie of Stoneham, Dennis O'Neill and his wife Julianna of Thornton, NH., James O'Neill and his wife Colleen of Salem NH., and the late William J. O'Neill . He was the brother of Evelyn Larry of FL and the late Vincent, Margaret, James, Robert, and Joseph O'Neill , Mary McDonald, and Mildred Piggot. He is also survived by his eleven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.

His funeral will be held from the McDonald - Finnegan Funeral Home 322 Main St. in Stoneham on Saturday at 8:00 A.M. followed by a funeral mass in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St. Stoneham at 9:00 o'clock. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 4 - 8 P.M. Interment will be at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park in Peabody.
