George Manzo

George T . Manzo , age 67 died on Wednesday, March 17 at the Lynn Union Hospital.

Born in Lowell on February 20, 1943 He was the son of the late William & Margaret (Riggi) Manzo .

Mr. Manzo was raised in Revere and was a graduate of Revere High School, Class of 1962. He was retired from the City of Peabody School Department after more than 20 years. He had previously been employed by the Gillette Corporation. He was WW II history enthusiast and was a member of the Lynnfield Council Knights of Columbus.

He is survived by his life partner Joanne A. Piselli of Wakefield. His brother Richard A. Manzo & his wife Tammy of NH. He was the uncle of Kristen Richard, Kory & Kevin Giberti and Richard W. Manzo . He is predeceased by his sister Carol A. Giberti.

His funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave. Wakefield on Monday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a funeral mass in St. Florence Church, 47 Butler Ave., Wakefield at 10 o'clock. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 1 - 5 p.m. Interment will be at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park in W. Peabody.
