Geraldine Allard

Geraldine , F . Allard , 84, a Wakefield resident since 1952, died on Sunday, March 22 at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital.

Born in Beverly on July 10, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Frederick K. and Josephine Annie (Hayes) Choate.

Mrs. Allard was a graduate of St. Mary's High School in Beverly. She had worked at United Shoe in Beverly before getting married and later worked as a Legal Secretary in Boston. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Mrs. Allard was the wife of the late Ray W. Allard . Mother of Thomas R. Allard of Wakefield, Nancy A. Hedquist and her husband Ken of Saugus and Marie Hartshorne of Lochmere, NH. Sister of Frederick Choate of FL, Robert Choate of Beverly and the late Eleanor Lebrun and Bessie Temple. Aunt of Nina Moutsoulas of Peabody. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, Melissa, Michelle, Katie, Christopher and Heather and 1 great grandchild.

Funeral services will be private.
