Gerard Lenners

Gerard E. Lenners, 79 a lifelong resident of Wakefield died at his home on Monday August 17. Born in Melrose June 27, 1930 he was the son of the late Eugene J. and Irene G. (Fitzgerald) Lenners.

Gerard was a graduate of Wakefield High School class of 1948. He was a member of St. Joseph Church. Gerard was a retired Gas Service Foreman for the Wakefield Municipal Gas & Light Department.

Gerard was the husband of Anita ( Peura) Lenners. He was the father of Andrew Lenners of Lynn, Jennifer Rollins and her husband Peter, Christopher Lenners and his wife Erica all of Wakefield, Sharon Caso and her husband Barry of FL, Paula Nazzaro and her husband Michael and Carol Wilkinson and her husband Kent all of TX and Susan Lenners of NC. Also survived by 12 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

Funeral from the McDonald Funeral Home 19 Yale Ave, Wakefield Thursday at 9am followed by a funeral mass in St. Joseph Church 173 Albion St. Wakefield at 10 o'clock. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday 4-8pm. Interment, Forest Glade Cemetery, Wakefield.
