Gordon Duncan

Gordon T . Duncan of Wakefield died Friday April 24 at age 89. Born in Boston on February 16, 1920 he was the son of the late Thomas & Christina (Paton) Duncan . Mr. Duncan was raised in Quincy and was a graduate of Quincy High School and the Wentworth Institute of Boston. He was retired from General Electric of Lynn after many years of service as a draftsman. Mr. Duncan was a long time member of the Emmanuel Episcopal Church and was a member of the Vestry and also a Warden of the church. He was a W.W. II veteran and served in the United States Navy as a Petty officer 2nd class.

Mr. Duncan is survived by his wife Virgnia (Parslow) Duncan . He was the father of Gordon T . Duncan , Jr. & wife Phyllis of Worcester, Steven A. Duncan & wife Valerie of Topsfield, David S. Duncan & wife Mary of Wakefield and Lori J. Wright & husband John of Lexington. He was the brother of Helen Duncan of Stoneham and the late Margaret MacLeod. He is also survived by his grandchildren Scott, Christopher and Andrew Duncan and Ashley & Lindsey Wright.

His funeral service will be held in the Emmanuel Episcopal Church corner of Main & Bryant Sts. Wakefield on Tuesday at 11:00. Visitation will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home 19 Yale Ave. Wakefield on Monday from 4-8 pm. Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery.
